How do I add one household at a time?

Individual Household Manual Entry

Before using this method of entry, have you considered employing the “Send Email Invitation” method? This is our suggested method of member entry. It invites the member, via email, to enter their own information, typically resulting in a more accurate and complete set of data for the household, and saving you time. (See www.learnjbf.com for instructions). 

If you stay with “Individual, manual entry”, you will be able to directly add members into the

Just Between Friends system, one household at a time. You will need the following information, at minimum, to do so: Family name, first name of primary adult contact, and email address. If you do not have an email address, you will need to use the spreadsheet method of entry instead.

As always check your Community Roster to see if the household is not already in the system.

1. Log into the administrative side of your account.
   

    

2. Click on the blue lettering, under the happy face icon - “Invite/Enter Somebody”.
   

3. You will then select "Alternate Method: Individual, manual entry"
   
   
   

   
   
   
   

4. Read dialog box and click on "I Agree" if acceptable.

    

5. Here is the page where you enter in the household’s information.
   
   

The required fields are:
a. Household Name
b. At least one first name, representing the primary adult contact
c. At least one email address

5. Click on the green "Save" button.
   
   
   

6. IMPORTANT: All households you add will receive an email (sent to the address you input and from your email address) inviting them to update their information.
