A Public calendar, in Just Between Friends, is one in which you can display items you and your admins deem viewable to all.
The HTML code may be easily created in the system for use by your webmaster. This calendar may be displayed, per your discretion, on a public website such as on your school district web page.
One of the best features in this functionality is one in which each admin with notice permissions may maintain their own public events, deadlines and group activities which will appear on the calendar. This takes the burden off just one person for maintaining an entire school calendar and distributes it appropriately.
This will determine the default time period which will be visible to viewers when they select day or week view. The visitor will be able to see the full twenty-four hours if they elect to do so.

When you create a notice (an email) for your members, this will be considered an event vs. creating an activity which is an item added directly to the group calendar. Select a color for each.
Usually, this is the one labeled “Generic”. If you do not have an invitation code, create one (Visit our instructions on creating an invitation code or contact customer support “Contact Us” for additional information).
