Adding an Officer

 

Once you have established an office in the system you will then put in the person holding that position. The area where you do this serves two purposes: 

  1. Log into the administrative side of your account and Click on <Set Up Officers>

    Hint: Be sure the person you want to add as an officer is in the Just Between Friends system and marked a PTA member

  2. To add an officer, make sure that:

  1. Click on the green plus sign to the right of the office to which you wish to add someone

    If you do not see the office, you must add the office to your listed offices. If you have more than one person in that office, you will add both of them to that one listing. You do not need to add the office again

  2. Select an individual as an officer from your current membership roster by clicking on the green plus sign to the right of his/her name

    You may elect to use the search function to find your candidate .

  1. A dialog box will ask you for the following:

  1. Click on the green "Save" button

Your person will not have any officer or admin permissions yet except, if they were selected as the president or you have check marked the "Alternate" box ( in which case they received all permissions in the system.) Otherwise, you must add the officer and admin permissions you wish them to have and in most cases some subset of Admin permissions.
