Once you have established an office in the system you will then put in the person holding that position. The area where you do this serves two purposes:
To maintain a historical listing of offices and officers (and chairs) for your unit and
To give PTA permissions, within the Just Between Friends system, to those individuals (officers and chairs) who will be managing PTA information.
Most important to remember: If your officer's or chair’s term expires in the system, so will their permissions to work with your groups's membership information
Hint: Be sure the person you want to add as an officer is in the Just Between Friends system and marked a PTA member

Office you wish to add them to exists in the system (ex. Membership Chair, President, etc...). To add an office that does not exist, click on "Actions" and select “Add Office”
If you do not see the office, you must add the office to your listed offices. If you have more than one person in that office, you will add both of them to that one listing. You do not need to add the office again

You may elect to use the search function to find your candidate .
Password – this will only be available if the person is not or has not been a prior officer or admin in the system. (The new officer should be notified of the updates to their account, including password if you added one. They can later change their password)
Confirm – Confirm the password if entered
Alternate – Check the box next to <Alternate> if they will assume the role of alternate administrator for your unit in the Just Between Friends system. If this is checked, they will receive permissions to do everything in the system

Your person will not have any officer or admin permissions yet except, if they were selected as the president or you have check marked the "Alternate" box ( in which case they received all permissions in the system.) Otherwise, you must add the officer and admin permissions you wish them to have and in most cases some subset of Admin permissions.
