addingattachments

How do I add attachments?

You can add many file types as attachments to your notices sent through the
Just Between Friends system. The system now allows you to keep a library of any that you use for your group. You may store membership forms, permission slips, or picture files for quick and easy access for all admins with permissions to send notices to your groups.

There is no longer a limit to the number of attachments which you can store in your library, but it is always recommended to remove old and obsolete ones as appropriate so not to use the wrong file.

As always you may simply attach a file to a notice and send. The instructions below will show you how.

  1. Log into your Administrative Dashboard.

If you cannot reach an administrative side click on the "Contact Us" button in the upper right side of the screen.

  2. Select the type of notice you wish to send with an attachment.

  1. Fill in the fields on the notice as needed.

For information and instructions on sending a notice see the other communication instructions on this site.

  2. As you add to and answer each field you will come to a section called “Attach a File From Your Computer”.

Here you will select a file not “previously” uploaded. Note: the area labeled “Attach Previously Uploaded Files” is your location for document management.

  3. Click on the gray "Browse" button.

  4. Select your file by navigating to its location on your computer and then click on open or select.

Different operating systems will have their own look and feel to the dialog box.

  5. Your file will appear in the “Attach Previously Uploaded Files” section with a check mark in the box to the left of its name.

You may now add more files or select additional files in this box of previously uploaded ones.

  6. To remove the file as an attachment to the notice, simply deselect the check box by clicking on it.

  7. Finish filling in the parameters of your notice and "Post/Send" as appropriate.
