Adding Missing Emails

 

Communications is one of the main advantages of using the Just Between Friends system. By having good email addresses associated with people and households in the system, you are able to get the attention of a wider audience.

In the following instructions you will learn how to quickly and easily identify and add missing email addresses in the system.

Do you have a large number missing? Think about finding a volunteer to assist you in identifying the missing ones and adding them into the system with these instructions. You will have to make them an administrator, at least temporarily, in the system.

 

  1. Log into the Administrator Dashboard.

  2. Click on "View Your People"

  3. Select the "Actions" button in the upper left of your page, next to the "Show Me" button.

  4. From the drop down menu select "Manage Invalid Emails".




  5. You will receive a list of names of people whose emails have bounced back 10 times or more and those people who do not have any email addresses associated with their account.

   
Note: you will only get a list of bad addresses if you have sent out enough communications in the past to actually receive bounce backs.

  1. To quickly add missing emails click on the button labeled to the right of the name of the household you wish to add a listing.

  2. In the dialog box that appears, enter the name in the “Name” field such as “Household” or “Smith” and then place the email address in the “Email Address” field.

 

Now click the "Save"  button.
