Modifying a group

 

Modifying a group is a simple process.  You will wish to use this function if you want to change the name, description, group type or parent group.  Most often it will be the name or parent group that you would like to change.

Changes enacted here do not change or affect any people linked to the group.  You may also wish to use this function to change specific information such PTA info (display name, description, PTA term and unit address), as well as invitation codes and managing Programs.

First here you will be introduced to how to institute basic changes to a group.

 

  1. Log into your admin side of the system

    You should see the “Administrator Dashboard”. Please, contact customer support if you do not see this page.  You may not have the proper permissions.

  2. Click on the green words “View or Modify Your Groups” in the "Manage Your Groups" box

    This is the box represented by the "Blue Book ".

  3. Find the group you wish to edit using the group navigation bar.  Click on the caret(s) to find your group

  4. Click on the "Edit" button

    Complete your changes as desired.

  5. Click on the "Save" button when completed
