Sending a Notice

 

Sending a basic communication is an easy and fun functionality in the system. Of course, the required permissions must be possessed in order to send a communication.


In addition, the more households and individuals who have email addresses in your group the more successful the communication function.

 

  1. Log into your admin side of the system

    You should see the “Administrator Dashboard”. Please contact customer support if you do not see this page.  You may not have the proper permissions.

  2. Find the "Take Action" box

    This is the box represented by the "Magic Wand".

  3. Click on the type of notice you wish to send

    The differences between notice types: An Event - has a beginning and ending date and, electively, a beginning and ending time; A Deadline - has an ending date (deadline) and, electively, an ending time; An Announcement has neither a begining or ending date and time options. Once you select one of the notice types you may change your mind before or during creation of the notice.

  4. Answer Each question on the screen

    Move left to right - top to bottom.

  5. Be sure to use the "Preview" button to see what your notice will look like

    This button will show you a how your notice will look in a typical email program.
